Net Curtains are still one of the best ways to cover your window for privacy during the day, and unlike in the past where you could only get traditional floral designs, you now have a large selection of modern designs to choose from so there should be something to cater for everyone’s tastes.
How To Measure For Net Curtains
You need to measure the width and drop
Measuring for net curtains involves taking two measurements on your window. The Width and the Drop. We recommend using a metal measuring tape for accurate measurements and to measure twice so no mistakes are made.
Window Drop = 48″ (122cm)
The measurement of this window drop is 48″ (122cm). If you want the net curtain to fit within the recess you would select the exact drop size you measured so in this case we would select the 48″ (122cm) option from the options available.
Window Width = 1m (100cm)
The window width measures 1m (100cm). Now we can calculate how much width we would like to cover the window. We recommend ordering at least 2x gather. So for this window you can order quantity 2 (Width 1m x 2x gather = 2m) or if you would like more gather order quantity 3 for a 3m width piece.

This is a net curtain showing 2x gather (width of window measurement x2).
